As part of a company visit, we were able to welcome District President Dr. Jens Mischak and District Administrator Dr. Christoph Ullrich to MK Versuchsanlagen in Mücke. Together with Mayor Andreas Sommer, they were given an insight into our work, our technologies and the development of our company. The exchange offered the opportunity to present the innovative strength of our location as well as our international orientation.
Since our foundation in 1988, we have developed into a globally active specialist in cleanroom technology, laboratory systems and measuring instruments. Our customers come from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries as well as from research and science. Our technologies make an important contribution, especially in sensitive application areas where the highest safety and quality standards are required.
One focus of our work is the development of high-precision systems for glove integrity testing. In addition, we are working on software solutions that analyze aging processes and enable a reliable prediction of the safe remaining service life of gloves. Such solutions help to further increase process reliability in demanding pharmaceutical applications.
Our growth is also reflected in the development of our workforce. In recent years, we have been able to significantly increase the number of our employees and at the same time expand our international presence. With locations in the USA, Ireland and, in the future, India, we are strengthening our customer proximity in important pharmaceutical markets worldwide.
In addition to technological innovation, our employees are the key to our success. That is why we continuously invest in modern working conditions, the training of young specialists and attractive development opportunities. At the same time, we see reliable childcare, equal opportunities and an innovation-friendly environment as important prerequisites for the future viability of rural areas.
The visit once again confirmed to us that international innovation and technological progress can also arise outside large metropolitan areas. We are looking forward to actively shaping the future of pharmaceutical and biotechnology together with our employees, customers and partners from our site in Mücke.
